About Us
The Halifax County Heritage and Antique Machinery Festival was established in 2003 by a group of interested citizens to help preserve and showcase the rich agricultural heritage of Halifax County, Virginia.
The two-day festival is held the first weekend of May each year at the Halifax County Fairgrounds. The 17th Annual Halifax County Heritage and Antique Machinery Festival is May 7 - 8, 2021.
The Halifax County Heritage and Antique Machinery Festival Committee has donated thousands of dollars over the years to the Halifax County Public School System and to the Halifax County Education Foundation in the form of scholarships, grants and equipment donations for hands-on classroom experience. Proceeds and donations in-kind have also been made to Halifax County Fairgrounds for improvements and upgrades.
Arts and crafts vendors are welcome and asked to print out the vendor registration form and mail in with payment before April 23, 2021. Halifax County Ruritan Clubs provide all festival foods; therefore, outside food vendors are not permitted.
